Current Activities of the Hamilton Branch of UNA-Canada include:
- Planning to host a Model UN event for Hamilton and District high schools on May 1, 2007
- In conjunction with the Hamilton Community Foundation, starting the annual process to award our bursary to a McMaster graduate student
- Support for the annual Hamilton Environmentalists of the Year Awards
- Planning for our Annual General Meeting (coinciding with the Awards above) for June 6, 2007
- Supporting the formation of a Hamilton Region Chapter of the Working Group for a Federal Department of Peace
- Supporting the Peace Cafe initiative in Hamilton
- Ongoing activities of the Citizen Protection Project
Previous Activities of the Hamilton Branch of UNA-Canada include:
- A workshop entitled Think Globally, Act Locally: Today's Youth for Tomorrow's Leaders and an Information Booth at the 2nd Annual Global Citizenship Conference (March 2-4, 2007, McMaster University in Hamilton)
- Presentations at the 5th Annual Conference on Peace Education in Canada at McMaster on the Safe Haven Story and Stealth Peace Curricula (November 20-27, 2006, McMaster University in Hamilton)
- Co-Hosting UN Day 2006 at the Robert Land School with guest speaker Craig Foye, Staff Lawyer at McQuesten Legal & Community Services: "The Right to an Adequate Standard of Living in Hamilton" (October 24, 2006 in Hamilton)
- Attendance at the UNA-Canada Annual General Meeting and the World Peace Forum conference (June 23-26, 2006 in Vancouver)
- Holding the UNAC Hamilton branch Annual General Meeting (June 7, 2006 in Hamilton)
- One of three Canadian UNAC branches to host UN60 MDG roundtable event in October 2005
